Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin was born on August 21 in the year 1973. Sergey immigrated from Soviet Union to the U.S. when he was 6 years old. He is more commonly known as the co-founder of Google. He developed Google when he met Larry Page at Stanford. Putting their differences aside, they tested their new search engine in their dormitory room, it was then they realized that they have invented a superior search engine that makes information across the Web accessible to everyone. Both suspended their PhDs and rented a garage to continue their research. Hence, the start of Google Inc. Sergey and Larry shared the 16th place in the Richest American's list in 2005. Forbes Magazine decided that they are the 5th most powerful people in world in 2009. Currently, Serbey and Larry both tied as the 24th richest person in the world.
